Design
As part of the company’s belief in offering a complete one-stop solution for clients, ARH has invested in equipping its project teams with the latest design tools.
Central to this is a sophisticated, estimating package with a fully priced database of nearly 400,000 electrical and mechanical items. The Estimators and Contract Managers employ a package to produce and verify the electrical design in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations, including sizing of cables and protective devices.
A lighting design package is utilised to ensure illumination levels appropriate to the installation, and to provide 3D visualisations for the customer. This software includes the detailed specification of thousands of luminaries, and can calculate the effect of real-world objects and materials on light levels.
ARH’s CAD operatives are able to create drawings or layer installation designs on to plans supplied by the client – these can be plotted at any size up to and including A0.
