Water Treatment
ARH has been involved with many water treatment projects across the UK, including work in the Scottish Water, United Utilities and Three Valleys Water areas. This experience means that ARH understands the need for a high standard of materials and workmanship in the IP65 and ATEX Zone 1 environment of your industry’s long-life expectancy facilities.
ARH engineers can undertake connection of PLC based control systems to valves, flow meters, dosing pumps and sensors distributed around your facility using multi-core and armoured instrumentation cables. ARH can also source non-standard IP65 motor control gear and customised MCC panels.
For harsh chemical process environments ARH are also able to design and install non-corrosive containment. Additionally, ARH’s engineers have experience in testing and pressure calibration up to 700 Bar.
Every project has a dedicated Site Manager to work closely with your team, plus a Contract Manager is in regular attendance on site - and always available by phone. ARH’s project team is focused on working to tight deadlines and can adopt shift patterns to provide round-the-clock coverage on site. Health & Safety is also a priority, so a full-time Health & Safety Officer backs up ARH’s comprehensively trained engineers.
It is routine for ARH to work closely with its clients on the design phase of the project. ARH utilise CAD, electrical circuit design and cable size calculation software to ensure the design is appropriate and has a long life. A computerised circuit testing and certification system is employed to assist in providing the comprehensive documentation expected in this closely regulated industry.
ARH’s Water Project Team can install, connect, calibrate and commission these devices:
- Conductivity Probes
- Flow Transmitters
- Actuated Valves
- Monitors (Aluminium, Manganese, Cryptosporidium)
- Telemetry Signalling
- Dosing Systems (Hypochlorite, Sulphuric Acid, Caustic)
- Motor Control (DOL, Star Delta, VSD)
- Turbidity Meters
- Level Transmitters
