Training & Development
ARH’s Managing Director firmly believes that the strength of the company is built on the skills and professionalism of the people who work for the company. Along with his fellow Directors, Tony Holton is committed to developing and training the workforce.
For many of ARH’s engineers this continuous development begins with the Modern Apprenticeships scheme, and for all employees it is driven by the Investors in People programme. In June 2001, ARH Electrical Services Ltd was the first electrical contractor in Shropshire to achieve the IIP standard.
A structured staff appraisal system produces an individual’s training plan; this in turn forms part of a comprehensive plan extending from basic skills (including Health & Safety training) through to formal management qualifications.
In-house tuition is carried out on a regular basis in ARH’s dedicated training facility. External trainers provide expertise in management training and the issuing of regulatory plant certification such as IPAF hydraulic lift licences.
A committed, supported and fully trained workforce is an essential part of the ARH guarantee to provide the customer with a quality-assured end product.
